About Funky Monkeys |
How Funky Monkeys beganIn 2008 Mark and Alison Simpson embarked on opening their first Funky Monkeys in Ireland , in a place called Lurgan, Co.Armagh. Their vision was to develop Funky Monkeys as the best and most successful childrens indoor soft play cafe throughout the whole of Ireland.
Prior to Funky Monkeys, Mark and Alison’s experience lies in the world of accountancy as well as more recently running three coffee bar franchises. The experience they gained in both has helped them develop Funky Monkeys into a very successful business model. Funky Monkeys is more than just a play centre!Aimed at children 8 years and under we have recognised that children can learn and develop their minds through play and therefore our equipment was designed specifically with this ethos in mind.
